The Bacchanalian - Summer Collection

What: Wine tasting for connoisseurs as well as "boxed wine lovers". We will be featuring The Summer Collection; white wines, sparkling wines, rose & champagnes but red wines are also welcomed. Join us for live music featuring local artist and hearty appetizer buffet. A cash bar will be available. (Must be 21 to attend.)


Why: To benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana in providing caring adult mentors to the children of Acadiana.


How: To participate in The Bacchanalian-Summer Collection, you can become a host and form TWO 3-person teams (5 individuals including yourself). Each host raises a minimum donation of $225/team ($75 per person). Each team brings 3 matching bottles of wine to Abacus. Two bottles will be bagged, assigned a number at random and set out for tasting. Host and team members can also create their own BBBS fundraising page to email to friends, family and colleagues.

Prizes: The teams that bring the top favorite wines will take home everyone's third unopened bottle of wine. The team that brings the least favorite bottle of wine will take home their unopened bottle of wine.
